about

The whole idea of building an Ice Globe Theatre is crazy enough to warrant a film project. The team building it faces temperatures plummeting to 30 or even 40 degrees below freezing.

During the past few years they have accumulated an astonishing amount of knowledge of how to use snow and ice to make viable large constructions. With the added artwork (all in ice of course) the theatre and its surroundings is a remarkable art exhibition, attracting artists from all continents to be part of building the theatre and the hotel.

Discovery Channel showcases this extraordinary construction of ICEHOTEL.
